Sean has along history with AKJ, having spent 15 years as CEO of both AK Jensen Limitedand AK Jensen Investment Management. In 2024, Sean took the position as theecosystem’s Platform CEO, where he now oversees all brokerage and fund managementactivities.
Sean’scareer began in New York at Citibank in 1991, after which he transferred toLondon in 1998 with Instinet UK and held various roles in portfolio tradingsales there, as well as later at Bear Stearns International. Sean spent threeyears at Quantum Financial Holdings, a fintech incubator, where he served asGroup COO and Head of Compliance, as well as CEO for Verve, a cashback platformand Quantum portfolio company.
Sean holdsan MBA in Finance from Columbia Business School and a BS in Marketing fromRutgers College. He was previously a member of the CFA Institute and CFA UK andheld both the CFA and CIPM designations.
